The most visible distinguishing feature of Casco’s C-Matt Comfort Mattress is its distinctive blue and gray, one-piece construction Clamshell cover, that makes cleaning and changeovers simple and efficient. What’s more, the different colors are more than cosmetic. They are visual cues, representing different functions provided by the top and bottom halves of the mattress cover.
The C-Matt Economy Series Top Cover: Basic & Plus
- Is constructed of billowy, shear resistant, nylon fabric – the most popular hospital mattress fabric in the U.S.
- Is fluid, abrasion resistant and non-allergenic.
- Has anti-microbial properties that combat mildew and fungus.
- Exhibits a high MVP transmission rate – 400mg/m2 per 24 hours.
- Has a built-in waterfall flap covering that prevents fluid intrusion into the mattress’ foam core.
- Is fully wipeable, for disinfecting after each change of patient.
The C-Matt Economy Series Top Cover: Premium
- Is constructed of billowy, omni-directional stretch, polyurethane coated knitted fabric.
- Is fluid, abrasion resistant and non-allergenic.
- Has anti-microbial properties that combat mildew and fungus.
- Exhibits a high MVP transmission rate – 400mg/m2 per 24 hours.
- Has a built-in waterfall flap covering that directs fluid intrusion away from mattress’ foam core.
