Attention to detail is the benchmark of the C-MATT Comfort design and construction, from the easy-to-clean and disinfect Clamshell^TM cover to its five-zone, foam mattress topper that offers the ultimate in patient support and comfort.

C-MATT Comfort provides the ultimate in patient comfort for general use throughout typical healthcare facilities with construction features that include 6" thick mattress with 4" resilient base foam, a 2" resilient topper foam, firm perimeter edge using all high density 100 percent virgin polyurethane foam.

The distinctive one-piece Clamshell cover makes cleaning and changeovers simple and efficient, and is color-coded to represent different functions provided by the top and bottom halves of the cover. The Clamshell cover and our foam core are each available as replacement parts for facilities that must replace worn-out mattress components.

The C-MATT Comfort top cover, constructed of billowy, shear-resistant nylon fabric, is non-allergenic, fluid and abrasion resistant, has antimicrobial properties that combat mildew and fungus, and exhibits a high MVP transmission rate of 400 mg/m² per 24 hours. In addition, the top cover features a built-in waterfall flap covering a single zipper that prevents fluid intrusion into the mattresses foam core, and is fully wipeable for disinfecting after each change of patient.

The bottom cover, made of durable tri-laminate Herculex II® vinyl fabric, features antimicrobial protection that prevents the growth of fungus and mildew, and uses a special vented coverlet assembly that prevents any moisture buildup. Applying the latest sealed seam radio frequency (RF) technology, Casco ensures that all bottom cover seams are completely fluid proof.

Casco recommends a Prevention or Therapy Treatment surface product when patients are immobile, at risk of developing decubitus pressure ulcers, or have vascular problems.

The C-MATT Comfort Mattresses measure 35 1/2" wide and 6" deep and come in standard lengths of 80" and 84". All C-MATT Comfort Mattresses are in full compliance with flammability standards, meeting California Technical Bulletin 117 and the option flame barrier feature meets California Technical Bulletin 129.
